Nice Ride

Old cars like this Buick are becoming fewer and fewer aren't they? When I ended up behind this relic at a red light I had to try and catch a quick snap of course. I particularly like the way the two people inside are silhouetted against the lights. - Fern

  2. That's a really great shot. It has a dreamlike quality about it. I miss my 1976 Monte Carlo. It was an 8 cylinder gas guzzling boat but what a cool car. My friends called it 'the aircraft carrier'.

  3. A sense of mystery when I look at this photo, nicely captured.

I came across this a few months ago in field in south-western Ontario. It evoked such a huge feeling of nostalgia in me. I didn't have my camera with me the first time I saw it, almost wept at the end of the day when it was missing from the field.

Returned two days later though and there it was. Wasted no time getting photos of it...

Sadly, Fern, you will live in a world where big flashy muscle cars are just historical curiosities... :(

    Good photo...

  5. Nice shot!

We won't see any cars being built now that'll make it to the antique stage. They just don't make them the way they used to.
