The Strait of Georgia

I cannot help but go out on deck and take some pictures when aboard the ferry over to the mainland. While this is not an unusual scene I never tire of it. - Fern

    I love the name given to all of these PNW waterways, The Salish Sea.

    I know what you mean Fern. The ocean is daunting, whether while turbulent with large waves, or when peaceful like here, with its volume and dormant "potential" energy.
    This shot, with the distant land on the horizon gives proportion to the immenseness of the sea.
