A Closer Look 5 - Inside the Legislative Assembly Building
Striking as it is from the outside, the interior of the Legislative Assembly Building is equally interesting. Here we are looking upward inside the rotunda at the entrance the the building.
I'm ashamed to say that with all the times I've been to Victoria, I've never been inside the building. I'll have to rectify that next time! Great shot.
I remember years ago I was shooting outside and one of the security guards told me I could go inside if I wanted to take more pictures. I hesitated and said, "you guys allow that here?" And he smiled and said yes. I'm not sure, but I think shooting photos inside our capitol buildings is frowned upon.
The stained glass windows in here are so beautiful, especially Queen Elizabeth's window.
