A nice kayak trip is down Tod Inlet at the south end of Saanich Inlet. Very peaceful...blessedly quiet.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you get into Gowland Tod Provincial Park, there's a high point above Squally Reach where you get a great view of the length of Saanich Inlet. (Covered it a couple of weeks ago on my site...)
Wow, what a fantastic view- looks fun to be on the water.

Beautiful place for kayaking. I can imagine that it is popular there.
ReplyDeleteSo many people from here (Toronto) have moved out to Saltspring and from this pic I can see why!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you guys finally had a nice day! Looks like the kayakers had a great time too.
ReplyDeleteMagical place. Love the clash of green of the hills and the blue of the water.
ReplyDeleteKayaks are becoming popular in many places now. They are simple and inexpensive and easy for beginners to get started with. Thanks for showing the kayakers in Victoria.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that you use one of these too! great way to spend the day. Looks awesome!
