Miniature Gardens

I'm still fiddling around with various ways of photographing the very small and today's photograph of moss reminds me of a miniature tropical garden. Though mosses are one of the most primitive plants some of them bear a striking resemblance to bromeliads, plants that evolved much later.

  1. Macro is a whole different subject. I know from experience trial and error is always a good way to go.
Forgot to say thanks for Fotomoto idea, I have already sold a couple of pictures. Paul

  2. I do love those bright green translucent leaves sort of in the center and bottom center (not the large flat leaves). How tiny are these plants? Is there anything you can reference for scale?

  3. Hi Benjamin,

    I loved green, nice shot.

Just like to share with you a life quote...

"I love my past. I love my present. I'm not ashamed of what I've had, and I'm not sad because I have it no longer. " -- Colette
