The weather continues strange - it's warm and sunny but there is a sharp cool edge to the air not unlike autumn and occasional fogs like this on otherwise clear days.

Beautiful shot. Fog offers some great imagery.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't that unusual in the summer when there is little wind. Even on very warm days, a cool breeze can suddenly drop the temp a few degrees and you feel the fog before you see it coming.
Having lived in San Francisco, I love the foggy weather we've been having! It is very fall-like, and last night I swear I heard geese flying south over our house!!

Odd angle to this photo -- I almost didn't recognize the location.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I used to live in James Bay. A favourite memory was Sunday mornings in bed reading our paper. Outside the weather would be that unique mix of fog and rain. We would open the window and listen to the rain falling in our garden and the nearby foghorns. Very mellow...
