Once, one held unusually very still while I got a great close-up look at him. No camera with me though. I think they are more often found in denser bushes near the beach.
Weird. Your bird is in the nearly exact same pose / angle as the one in the reference link you posted.
ReplyDeleteterrific shot. really, congratulations on getting this one. as you said, these little guys are always so jumpy and fleeting, it's always difficult to get a good shot of them.
