Canada's oldest Chinatown has decked itself out with new red lanterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The lanterns in this photo are hung on the Gate of Harmonious Interest on Fisgard Street in Victoria's Chinatown. This is the Year of the Tiger.
I love these red lanterns... and I love how vibrant everything is in this shot, and how I can see the underside of the roof & the lampions thanks to the angle! :D
One of my brothers was born in the year of the Tiger... so I think it's an important year for our family! :)
