Spring in February

The flowering trees that line Victoria's streets think it's spring and who am I to argue? The blooms on this particular tree are generally some of the first I photograph each year since they flower in the warmth of the old south-facing wall of the derelict Janion Hotel. This year they are blooming about a month earlier than in the past.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

  1. I photographed Cherry Blossoms in Victoria three weeks ago during my trip to celebrate my brother's birthday. Rhododendrums as well, in Beacon Hill Park. It's crazy how early spring is this year.
That is a great picture, love the bokeh!!

  2. Our thundercloud plums are starting to get pink too. We're about a month or more ahead of the normal spring schedule.

  3. Who says global warming is all bad?
And at this moment, every state in the US (except Hawaii) has snow.
