(Or should that be
croci foci?) So often when we are focused on one thing we miss other things. Yesterday when I was photographing the cob bench in the community garden I was so concentrated on the bench that I nearly stepped all over these first little harbingers of spring. Though it's still freezing at night, the days lately have been bright and sunny. The buds are swelling on the trees....
Spring already...
ReplyDeleteI love to see the first crocus, it being a sign that winter is almost up and the days will soon be warmer.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at some here in a nearby churchyard today.

Well, it's not really spring yet but it looks and feels like it's on the way and will be here soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm going with croci foci! Love this breath of spring. Like the weird art below. Hmmmm.

Our flowering plants are so confused this year, the sequence of blossoms is all out of whack. I finally spotted some daffodils the other day, but the ones in my yard are just now poking up their leaves.
ReplyDeleteOh these glowers are very pretty
ReplyDeleteYou've captured a nice photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bloom. Makes me hopeful spring is near.
ReplyDeleteIn our front yard you can see yellow ones and couple wild iris. The blue skies have cheered me immensely
ReplyDelete. You caught such lovely light on the petals.
