  3. Yes, it actually is a breakwater that provides shelter for Victoria's deep water port for ocean liners and other large ships. This is the short side. It's very photogenic - I earlier posted a different shot of it: HERE. and I'll probably post a few more before I'm done....

    I didn't identify it as a breakwater in this shot because I didn't want to disturb the Otis Redding mood.
