Victoria West Skate Park

Skateboarding is a sport that seems to have popped into existence in the sixties and become very popular. My son-in-law skates and here is a photo of him today at the local skate park.

  2. Wow! He's into all the acrobatics! I skateboarded as a kid in Los Angeles, but it was all very tame flat concrete action. I think we looked at it as a substitute for surfing until we grew up a bit.

  3. I am rubbish at skateboarding. Give me surfing, at least you fall in the water instead of concrete!

  4. What an excelent action shot. How long has he been skateboarding? - this doesn't look like a beginner move.

  6. wow! As a skateboarder, i know that it is pretty hard to get back into skating after that long, great job! I am always impressed by older people who can still rip, it gives me hope that i wont have to quit one day. Nice pic, and keep it up!
