uselaine - I'm consumed with guilt - I didn't even know it was Earth day - however I'm glad I instinctively made a correct gesture. I actually wanted to do a picture of dandelions and starlings since both these favorites of mine are much denigrated here, but the starlings were too difficult to get close to.
Destitute and Susan, thanks for your kind remarks. Susan, this was shot a few blocks from my apartment in Victoria West. Beacon Hill Park is a couple of miles away on the left.
I'm consumed with guilt for declaring Sunday was Earth Day, when technically speaking it is Tuesday (see Abraham Lincoln's blog). The observances just got moved to Sunday by the local, uh, observers. I'm easily confused.
