ReplyDeleteI like the human scale of the buildings - nothing too towering in this area. A bit like Paris (or so I hear).

ReplyDeleteNearly all the buildings in this picture were built in the 1890s, the first of three major building booms in Victoria (the others were the 1970s and the late 1990s/200s). The vast majority of the buildings in downtown were built in those eras.
I like a lot the different colours of the buildings. Nice shot!
