Yes! The tubas would just disappear into the mix in colour wouldn't they? And they frame the director beautifully. Bravo Benjamin!
ReplyDeleteIf you like b&w, also check out Laurie's South Pasadena blog. I don't know how to make that a linky thing in comments, lo siento.
ReplyDeleteBen, I promised not to mention bird poop today. Honest. It seems our karmic destiny is on a parallel route. You're just having a larger dose of...uh...good luck.
If it's any consolation, your comment made me laugh so hard I spit coffee on my keyboard.
Snapper, thanks.
ReplyDeleteKG - thanks for the pointer to S. Pasadena. I'm learning to like BW. Sorry about your keyboard but I guess that's instant karma.
This one too is great. If I did not already tell you that I like your photos then I am telling you now!
ReplyDeleteIt is only when you start working in b&w do you really appreciate colour if you see what I mean. Colour can be a distratcion masking so many little nuances in an image. Those tubas are so focal and intense and would pale in colour. Excellent job on this imgae.
